As a consumer, it’s your duty to check the cleanliness of the car at the time of renting the vehicle and receiving it.
To be entitled to any remedy, the first premise is that the unclean condition of the car should not be attributed to your actions.
If the car is not up to a reasonable standard of cleanliness, you have a few remedies available to you.
First, you can refuse to accept the rental service and may be able to claim full reimbursement.
Second, you can demand the car to be cleaned by the service provider in due time.
Third, you can get the car cleaned at your own expense and deduct the amount from the full payment or claim reimbursement for the money you’ve spent.
If you’re still not satisfied with the cleanliness of the car, you can raise a complaint with the appropriate authority and seek redressal of your grievances. You should know
